Day 03: Solang to Jispa (3142 Mts.) (136 kms.) (Ride - Approx 07 - 08 hrs)
After breakfast, around 8 A.M., we would start our journey, leaving the lush green countryside of ‘Solang’ and head towards ‘Rohtang Pass’. (3,978 Mts.). Few places on the Earth can mark so dramatic a change in landscape as the ‘Rohtang Pass’. To one side, the lush green head of Kullu Valley; to the other, an awesome vista of bare, chocolate – colored mountains, hanging glaciers and snowfields. On the Valley floor, we drive through the field of potato and peas, dotted by ‘Lahauli’ Villages, and encounter the local inhabitants working in the fields. After crossing a bridge at ‘Tandi’, the meeting point of ‘Chandra’ and ‘Bhaga’ Rivers, we head north along the ‘Bhaga’ valley to ‘Keylong’. ‘Keylong’ is the district head quarter of ‘Lahaul’ and ‘Spiti’ and is a quite busy town as it is the only big market in the ‘Lahaul’ Region. We further drive northwards to ‘Jispa’ After riding for 21 kms., we eventually reach ‘Jispa’. It is situated in the middle of an open valley besides the ‘Bhaga’ River and there are quite a few villages around, and the place also houses a monastery. We camp for the night over here.

Day 04: Jispa – Sarchu (Brandy Nallah) (4280 Mts.) (110 kms.) (Ride - Approx 06 - 07 hrs)

As we start the route, it first passes through ‘Darcha’, which is the commencing point for trekking to ‘Zanskar’. It further ascends as we cross ‘Patseo’ - Army encampment. We leave the green trail behind and move over the high pass of ‘Baralacha La’ (4800 Mts.). The landscape now turns more alpine with snowcapped mountains surrounding the Pass. From here we enter in to a totally different landscape which is completely barren with chocolate colored mountain blends and the infinite blue of the sky to welcome us to this land of divine beauty – ‘Brandy Nallah’. We retire for the day here, by setting up an overnight camp.

Day 05: Brandy Nallah – Tsomoriri (4520 Mts.) (175 kms.) (Ride - Approx 08 - 09 hrs)

The longest but perhaps the best day provides everyone, a lifetime opportunity to ride through the amazing land of ‘Changthang’- which literally means Northern plains. This area is actually the continuation of Northern plateau land of ‘Chang – Thang’ of Tibet. It is inhabited by ‘Changpas’, - the up country pastoral community, which sparsely inhabits the vast grasslands of ‘Chang Thang’. The Journey initially moves over the passes such as ‘Naki-La’ (4740 mt), ‘Lachung-La’ (5019mt) and heads into one of the most amazing terrains in the world as we traverse through the high mountain desert of western Himalaya. From Pang the drive takes you on the ‘Morey plains’ (locally called ‘Kyangchuthang’). From the other edge of this vast plain, we enter into a small valley into the right stretching for 10 kms. and finally get to ‘Tsokar’. From Tsokar we further drive through the open valleys of ‘Rupshu’ to ‘Karzok’. All along the trail, one comes across the nomadic camps and the rare Himalayan wild life. We reach ‘Tsomoriri and camp for the night over there.

Day 06: Free Day Around Tsomoriri
Today’s day is spent by exploring the ‘Tsomoriri Lake’ and the area nearby. It is the largest lake in the ‘Rupshu’ district. On its western shore stands ‘Korzok monastery’. The present building was erected around 1850, but the origin of the shrine goes back to ‘Mon’ and ‘Dart’ times possibly before the 9th century. We later go back and rest at the campsite in ‘Tsomoriri’. Overnight in camp.

Day 07: Tsomoriri – Leh (3550 Mts.) (240 kms.) (Ride - Approx 09 - 10 hrs)
As we start our journey towards ‘Leh’, the route gently ascends towards a small ‘Turquoise lake’. From here we drive over to ‘Namshang La’ to the Village of ‘Sumdo’. Next part of the journey is through a narrow gorge to ‘Chumathang’. ‘Chumathang’ is known for its hot water springs with medicinal qualities. Driving on a flat track through many villages we eventually reach Leh and stay overnight in a hotel.

Day 08: Motor–Bike Safari Ends
Today is the last day of the exciting motor – bike safari. After having breakfast/ lunch we would check-out from our hotel and then a Nomadier representative will assist you with the onward journey to your respective destination.
